Nadia Reid

“When I hear a young artist making an album as soulful and rich and self-possessed as ‘Listen To Formation, Look For The Signs’, I feel so thrilled not only for the existence of that record but for all the music they will make over all the years to come”. - The Guardian - One of New Zealand's most evocative and profound young songwriters, we are so proud to introduce the incredible Nadia Reid to the Summer Fest Lineup. This will be an absolutely beautiful show.

FreQ Nasty

Image

Early pioneer of breakbeat music, high priest of bass, and all-round dance-floor destroyer FreQ Nasty!! With origins forged in four separate nations (Fiji, New Zealand, the UK, and the West Coast of America), FreQ Nasty has leveraged his multicultural background to straddle and often buck the trends in electronic music culture. His productions range from peak time bass heavy gut crunchers to deep and melodic dubwise vibes, he's collaborated with the likes of Bassnectar, Santigold & Switch, done remixes for KRS1, Professor Green, Kelis, and Fatboy Slim, and he'll be coming to the Coromandel to push the dance floor into ruckus uncharted territory. Look out, this will be epic!

Elise Adlam

Image

Hailing from Whakatane, Elise Adlam brings a fusion of acoustic folk, and soulful summer beats. She combines honest lyrics with melodies and harmonies that speak of vulnerability and strength at once.
"Music is the one constant in my life. I can’t remember a time where i haven't written songs. Most of them terrible, but every now and then, a song sticks. They are little stories. Of people, places, and things that happen. I love it when i can convey that in a way that people can relate too and enjoy. That’s the real buzz of music for me."

Elise will be opening the festival, getting us started on the right foot!
